Youth Empowerment
Our Goals
The main goal of the Brandon Maye Legacy Foundation is to aid youth in the Prichard and Mobile, Alabama areas in building a positive Legacy so they can leave that Legacy to future generations. Specific areas of focus for the foundation are academic enrichment, character development, and philanthropic endeavors. By motivating youth to develop their lives in these key areas, the foundation will fulfill its mission.
Academic Enhancement
The Foundation is committed to providing youth with opportunities to gain knowledge on topics typically not taught as a part of the public-school curriculum – to include practical economics, micro entrepreneurship, and future skills. The Foundation also welcomes the establishment of scholarships to aid youth in their academic endeavors.
Character Development
The Foundation hosts events and implements special projects designed to aid the character development of our youth. Participants are offered access to experiences and to mentors that help them to develop desirable character traits for success in all facets of their lives.
Philanthropic Endeavors
The Foundation gives back to the local community through annual service projects in partnership with schools, non-profit organizations, and businesses. The Foundation enlists volunteers of all ages to aid in its philanthropy, but focuses on encouraging youth to embrace volunteerism.
